Make plans to attend the annual Sourwood Festival in Black Mountain!
Every August the Black Mountain/Swannanoa Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Sourwood Festival, named in honor of local sourwood honey. The festival features music, dancing, arts & crafts, great food, kid’s rides and games, face painting and more in a family-friendly environment. Visit Black Mountain for the weekend and enjoy all the Sourwood Festival has to offer.
While you’re in Black Mountain, take advantage of the opportunity to visit local restaurants and shops as well! Our historic district is chock full of unique boutiques, gift shops, and art galleries.
